Exact Length Shaft Tipping Ruler
Designed by clubmakers for clubmakers, this time proven design is the ideal shaft tipping ruler, as it accounts for the final playing length to which the club is to be built. By factoring in the lie angle and shaft insertion depth, pre-assembled clubs can be butt trimmed to within 1/16 of an inch. The Exact Length ruler also lends itself the ability to measure the lie and loft of assembled clubs.
A specially designed bench rule has a hinged sole flange that aligns with the sole of the club to compensate for the lie angle during the measuring and trimming process eliminating the guesswork. Use it for building sets of clubs to length, measuring raw shafts, assembled clubs and more.
