Weighing just under an ounce; This original device clamps just under the grip. It doesn't contribute much to the MOI of the club or alter the feel or swing characteristic in any significant way.
How it works: When the club-head is leading at impact the laser beam is shuttered, triggering an audible tone. The distance at which the head crosses the projected laser dot is how far the shaft bent prior to impact. The lead can be narrowed down with each swing successively to yield accurate bending data.
