Drill Press Operation:
While specifically designed for hand reaming operations, both reamers (straight & fluted) can be used on a drill press running at 150 RPM or below. Slow cutting speed combined with a moderate feed speed and generous lubrication yields the best results and prolongs tool life considerably!
Key features:
- High Speed Steel cuts through most alloys including 17-4PH and 6AL-4V.
- Enlarges hosels up to 0.003" / 0.1 mm (nominal).
- Drill press compatible at or below 150 RPM depending on alloy.
- Tapered lead guides reamer into the hosel bore (straight reamer only).
- Universal reamer handle with square stock included with each kit.
