Description

SHAFT ANGLE MITER GUIDE

The Shaft Angle Miter Guide has been designed to help clubmakers measure and repeat angle cuts to golf shaft tips.

USING THE SHAFT ANGLE MITER GUIDE

Step-1

Secure the Shaft Angle Miter Guide into a bench vice.

Step-2

Insert the shaft to be measured into the Shaft Angle Miter Guide and set the reference angle flange flush with the shaft tip.

Step-3

Remove the shaft just measured, and insert the shaft to be cut into the Shaft Angle Miter Guide, keeping the angle flange in its reference position.

Step-4

Tighten both thumb screws to keep the angle flange and shaft from moving.

Using the angle flange as a guide, saw the tip of the golf shaft off using a hacksaw or similar cutting device.

The new shaft now has the same angle as the original reference shaft.

SPECIAL NOTE

Before securing the new shaft into the Shaft Angle Miter Guide, line up the shaft's graphics or silk screen in the desired orientation.

Based on the carpenter's miter box, this devise secures the shaft tip and guides the cutting blade to a preset angle. This tool is a must for re-shafting classic bore-through utility clubs and irons. The nested V shape prevents the shaft from rotatng under the blade. Miter must be sured in a vise.
