The ferrule shield is an essential re-shafting tool as it?s designed to keep the ferrule cool with the help of a water soaked sponge inserted between the shield and ferrule prior to heating up the hosel. The shield also provides a shoulder on which to push against when pulling the shaft out.
This is an essential re-shafting tool for Callaway and Ping clubheads. The ferrule shield protects and cools the proprietary ferrule while the head is being heated. The ferrule shield also provides a shoulder on which to push against.
