Each re-sharpenable, high-quality HSS bit is brazed to a Stiff stainless steel shank and trued to prevent wobbling and flexing too much while peck drilling. Peck drilling prolongs tool life by breaking up chips and reducing heat buildup to prevent dulling the bit?s cutting edge.
