Description

New universal Brass Shaft Shims are the fast and easy way to fit conventional shaft tips into clubheads with oversized inside hosel diameters. One size fits all shaft tips due the shims' collapsible side walls design. Maximizes bonding by allowing epoxy to seep past and adhere to both the shaft and hosel wall as well as the shim. Each .15 gauge brass shim weighs just 1.6 grams resulting in virtually no effect on swing weight, and readily converts conventional shaft tips to fit into most oversize hosel bores as follows:

  • .370" tip adapts to fit .390" to .450" hosels.
  • .355" tip adapts to fit .370" to .425" hosels.
  • .335" tip adapts to fit .350" to .400" hosels.
The Golfmechanix "one size fits all" Universal Brass Shims are specifically designed to bridge the "fit gap" across a wide range of tolerances between mismatched shaft tips and hosel bores. The universal fit is made possible by impressing collapsible ribs along the "ears" of the shim. The ribs are designed to gradually flatten out as the shaft is driven firmly into the hosel. Each shim weighs less than 1.60 grams which has virtually no effect on swing weight.
